Upon First Burn:

Before lighting your candle for the first time, trim the wick to 1/4".
To avoid tunneling, allow the candle to burn until the wax melts and pools evenly along the entire surface, edge to edge. The entire top should be liquid.
Standard candle burn is about an hour per inch of surface wax. Example, 3" diameter candle will need about 3 hours for entire surface to be liquid.

Subsequent Use:
It is recommended to burn your candle no more than 3-4 hours per day. More than 3-4 hours burn time will increase carbon deposits. The wick may mushroom creating soot and smoke leaving debris in your wax.
Trim the wick to 1/4" before each new lighting.

Cautions:
Burn candles in a well-ventilated room
Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings, matches and debris
Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, fans or air currents
Burn candles in an ambient of 65–75 degrees °F
Do not leave your burning candle unattended
